This pencil drawing was sadly commissioned by a client and reproduced with their permission after Hobbes passed away. Hobbes was a beautiful tangerine leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius) who lived with his owner in the United States. Helen utilized numerous photos of Hobbes from his owner in order to put together this custom composition of him. The aim was to try and have him posing in a manner that best captured his unique features, from the spots on his neck, smudge on his nose and pattern of his scales. It is these subtle yet unmistakable features that make our pets recognisable to their carers and those who love them.

The original of this piece is sold, however it is available as limited number (25) prints, printed on archival quality eco friendly Hahnemuhle Bamboo card and available in both the original A3 size and a smaller A4 size. Each print comes hand signed and numbered, with it’s own unique Certificate of Authenticity.
