This incredibly detailed drawing was completed with Faber Castell Polychromos and Prismacolor premier pencils on white card. The original photo was taken and referenced with permission from Australian wildlife photographer Georgie Puschner. King penguin’s (Aptenodytes patagonicus) are the second largest species of penguin and are found in the Antarctic regions of the South Atlantic and Macquarie Island.

Please note that as this is an original artwork and not a print reproduction, any loss or damages will only be able to be replaced with a print copy, or with the completion of an entirely new artwork by Helen Grey.
